I'm on my third 5 pound bag of this CO2 Decaf Colombian coffee. I obviously have enjoyed it. The aroma and freshness of the coffee from Coffee Bean Direct is absolutely wonderful. For some reason the beans also grind terrifically without any static electricity that usually sends other grounds scattering. I like that. However, after buying my third bag of the Colombian beans I think I will move on to another decaf.

I don't know whether the Co2 process yields a weaker flavor or if it is just this particular roast. I have found that a normal portion of ground beans in a drip coffee maker produces a rather watery and weak coffee, not nearly worthy of the amazing smell of the beans. I keep using more and more coffee to get the most flavor out of the beans. This seems to work ok for now, but I now use almost 50% more coffee than is normally called for. I still like the brand though and look forward to trying another CO2 decaf roast from them next time.
